What does Costco Travel Canada sell?

Vacation packages (including all-inclusive resorts), cruises, rental cars, hotels and theme park packages, plus guided vacations and shore excursions. You need a Costco membership to book.

Do Executive members earn the 2% reward on travel?

Yes, on purchases made directly from Costco Travel. Costco Travel says the reward is applied after the travel is completed, and it can take up to two months to show in your 2% reward balance. You can spend the reward certificate in the warehouse, or exchange it for a Costco Shop Card to put toward travel. See whether Executive pays off for you.

Is Costco Travel cheaper?

Sometimes, and the extras matter as much as the headline price. Compare like for like:

• The all-in price with taxes and fees, not the per-person teaser
• What a Digital Shop Card is worth to you (it is Costco credit, not cash)
• The 2% Executive reward, if you have it
• Change and cancellation terms

On a $5,000 package, the 2% reward is worth $100 and the CIBC Costco Mastercard adds $50 (1%).
